Unless you’ve been living under a social media rock, you’ve probably heard that Twitter rolled out tweets with 280 characters to all users. See the full update on Twitter’s official blog post.

Others love it…

 

And some might be going little over the top…

Just like any other platform update that has been met with upfront criticism, we can assume seeing 280-character tweets will soon become the norm. In the meantime, brands should consider how and if they want to leverage this feature for social storytelling on the platform.
