We kicked it off with a Facebook tab quiz that identified your Game Day personality based on your answers to multiple choice questions. The first 1,000 people to take the quiz won a Kroger Game Day Greats cooler pack complete with all the custom homegating or tailgating gear you could ever need.
As Kroger’s Social Agency of Record, we get to work on a ton of awesome campaigns and Game Day Greats was no exception. Acknowledging that football season is essentially half a year long, we needed to come up with inventive ways to keep our audience engaged and excited about food and football all season long.
We followed that up with awesome recipes and social content that pitted homegaters against tailgaters. Users were prompted to share their homegating or tailgating photos for the chance to win a variety of different prizes. These images were all displayed via Grandstand on the Game Day Greats website.
The Game Day Greats campaign ultimately garnered 16 million impressions across Facebook and Twitter. 48,000 people took our Game Day personality quiz and over 4,000 of them shared their results with friends.
