When you’re bringing 10,000+ of your best partners together for a conference, what’s the best way to get people engaged in conversation? If you answered “give them beer” – then you were correct!

However, this project isn’t about beer. It’s about how we used our Grandstand technology to build a real-time social data visualization and sweepstakes to reward Microsoft’s World Wide Partners Conference attendees. All you had to do was Tweet with the #SMBwhatsnext hashtag so your avatar could flip a tile on the game board, entering you to win some great prizes.
