QlikTech wanted to delight expo attendees during the 2014 National Retail Federation conference, so they engaged iSL to concept a unique Social Machine for the occasion. Thus, we created the “Twitter Locker” – designed to inject excitement and an element of social into the old-hat experience of grabbing conference swag. When expo-goers approached the machine and tweeted the correct hashtag, one of 18 locker doors opened at random to reveal the prize they had won.
Aside from automating the the swag giveaway and creating new social media followers in the process, the machine delighted hundreds of passers-by and drew potential leads into our client’s booth for more information.
